Artwork for a five vinyl single set for The Signs.
All artwork was hand made using found materials and built up in layers to create a collage and D.I.Y aesthetic to the covers. The first layer was built up using various papers, stickers, bar codes, tickets and labels to create texture and a tactile quality to the covers. The second layer is a thin white coat of paint to act as a foundation colour to the work but to still allow details of the the first layer to show through vaguely. I then created the signs out of various adhesive tapes and colours to create a theme through out the set. All this was then finished off using old dry transfer lettering also know as letraset from the 1970's for the typography.
With each vinyl being hand produced and numbered each one is individually different yet still work as a set making them more desirable to collect them all.
